Kat began her journey with yoga when she was a student at the University of Vermont. Inspired and encouraged by her first teachers, she has been a humble student ever since. Recognizing that yoga makes her a healthier and happier person she took the next step to get her 200 hour YTT through Yogafit and is currently working on her 300 hour YTT. She has participated and completed additional training in restorative and yoga for seniors along with teaching several workshop on alignment and warrior series. 

Kat is committed to creating space and time for others to have the same experience. She teaches her classes in a light-hearted, honest and fun approach, with strong attention to alignment, breath, and focus. Kat hopes to help her students find true happiness in their bodies through the practice of yoga. She is honored to have the opportunity to support others in their yoga journey and has the utmost respect for the unique experiences each person brings into the room.

Off the mat, when not practicing, teaching or studying yoga. Kat loves creating art, reading, traveling and going on adventures with her husband Michael and their adorable Shih Tzus Scarlett and Trevor.
