Melanie
Melanie has been practicing yoga for over ten years. She became interested in yoga as a physical tool to support her training for half marathons. She eventually shifted her interest from running to yoga. As an avid traveler, she has joined yoga classes in many different countries around the world. In 2016, she took part in her first yoga retreat in Siem Reap, Cambodia. She also participated in her first silent meditation retreat in Surat Thani, Thailand. These experiences brought her a deeper understanding of the yogic philosophy and led her to grow her spiritual practice. Finally, she entered a 200-hour yoga teacher training program with Nova Yoga in the fall of 2021.
Melanie has been a part of the Yoga Inspired community since the studio opened. In November of 2022, she transitioned from a student to a teacher. She loves getting to know the people in her classes and strengthening the bonds within the community. In her classes, you will explore pieces of yogic philosophy through yoga asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathwork). Her sequences are alignment-driven and support specific intentions. She always hopes students will take what they need out of the practice. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced yogi, Melanie welcomes all students.
