A yoga mala is a challenging and fulfilling practice comprised of 108 sun salutations. That’s right, 108 salutes to the sun! Traditionally, a yoga mala is done on or around a solstice or equinox to honor the sun's rotation and is a great time to set new intentions for the coming season. If you’ve never done a mala before, now is the time! It truly is an amazing experience to sync breath and movement, connect the mind and body. Think of it as a moving meditation. We'll take breaks along the way and you may choose to sit out any portion of the full mala. The full mala will last 2 hours.

This is an empowering, community-driven experience, and we’ve decided to make it a little more friendly to your pockets as well! This will be a donation only event and a portion of this year's proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
It's free to sign up, but please bring cash to donate - suggested donation is $10-$15 but you may drop as much or as little into the bowl as you'd like.

These days, kids are under more stress than ever. At Yoga Inspired Kids’ Camp, children learn lifelong coping skills while playing games, using their imaginations, connecting with peers non-competitively, making art, and more from Melissa Carroll, RYT200. Melissa is a certified kids yoga teacher, yoga teacher, and reiki master who doubles as a Montessori school teacher in Raleigh with 10 years experience!


WHO THIS IS FOR -
Yoga Inspired Kids Camp is open to incoming 1st through 6th graders.
No yoga experience necessary.

DATES -
July 8-12 at Yoga Inspired.

SESSIONS -
11am-12:15pm for incoming 1st through 3rd graders.
12:30pm-3pm for incoming 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

COST -
$125 per child BEFORE June 15th.
$150 per child after early registration deadline.

In this class students will learn the fundamentals of Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness.  Each class includes a Kriya (postures/ sequence), pranayam (breathing techniques), meditation and mantra (sound currents) to help students experience strength and flexibility, emotional balance and spiritual connection.

Kundalini yoga is a simple and effective way to reduce stress, increase mental clarity and boost your energy.  Soothe your nervous system, feel clear, centered and Radiant.
